Role Description
Lead both globally and locally the development of people, processes, and tools aligned with the organization’s strategic operations excellence roadmap. Prioritizing safety, quality, and cost optimization in all initiatives.
Lead global continuous improvement projects together with the collaboration of the global and local teams:
Drive global continuous improvement projects in collaboration with global and local teams, promoting and securing safe working conditions while enhancing equipment availability, performance, and quality. Eliminate inefficiencies (non-added value activities, lean waste, Muda (waste), Muri (overburden) and Mura (unevenness)”) to stabilize production lines, increase output, and reduce operational costs
Developing, executing, and monitoring of Strategic and Lean Assessment & Lean-Six Sigma improvement projects across global operations, focusing on process and equipment performance in all manufacturing sites.
Lead the global standardization and sustainment of Lean activities and Daily Management Board (DMB) standards across all manufacturing sites, integrating KPI controlling to monitor performance, drive accountability, and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities and operational excellence culture
Purpose of the Department Function
Lead global continuous improvement, strategic operations projects, and lean manufacturing initiatives across all manufacturing sites, partnering with local Continuous Improvement leaders to deploy, standardize, and sustain global operational excellence through effective KPI controlling and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead global continuous improvement projects together with the collaboration of global and local Process Engineer/s/Continuous improvement leaders:
- Go, See, Think and Do: Lead problem solving sessions to understand the problem, define it, analyze the problem, and conduct root cause analysis to define the countermeasures to build an action plan and lead the implementation of the improvement project for production processes in scope.
- Responsible for preparing the project reports and providing updates to all operations improvement project stakeholders, monitoring components of activity to ensure project deliverables are met within scope, resource, time, cost and quality.
- Collaborates to Finance, HSQE & Sustainability, Commercial, Production Technology, Supply Chain, determining optimization targets, aligning with site manager on the production improvement targets and communicate them to the process owners.
- Develops, coaches, and mentors site leadership, production, and support staff to actively use lean-six sigma tools for problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Communicates efficiently across management levels and escalates in a professional and timely manner when necessary.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement implementations within supply chain (Green/Black Belt), able to analyse complex operational data to drive decisions and KPI improvements
- Experience in defining, tracking, and controlling KPIs across multiple sites to sustain operational excellence
- Ability to coach and lead organizational changes, influence stakeholders at all levels, and embed a continuous improvement (lean six sigma) culture globally
- Proactivity and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet or exceed deadlines and objectives
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment, with experience working with different cultures and work environments
- Project management experience. Preferably in a multi-functional or multi-national environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office and BI/Data analytics Skills
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in the Continuous Improvement field within production and supply chain processes.
