Located in Girona, Spain, our site houses key functions including Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sustainability, HR, IT, and Finance. This vibrant hub fosters collaboration and innovation, making it an exciting place to work.
Role Description
The Global Subject Matter Expert # ERP Supply Chain (SME SCM) is responsible to define, globally harmonized processes and data in the Gurit core model based on D365 FO standard processes or other systems defined by corporate. This includes gathering business requirements from the Gurit sites and designing solutions jointly with IT consultants within currernt system’s standard functionality.
The SME SCM ensures the rollout processes to the business, either in a roll out project (ERP implementation) or during a retrofit for sites that are already operating the Gurit standard processes.
As a “guardian” the SME SCM is responsible, that core model process remains aligned across sites and support with best practice education. She/he ensures continues improvement in process efficiency.
Purpose of the Department Function
The Global Subject Matter Expert # Supply Chain Management (SME SCM)) is responsible to support global system implementation by applying business core model processes, drive harmonization and continuous improvement of supply chain processes and collaborate across business units to define, implement/train ensure best practices and value-added changes.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Expert on the end-to-end process
Support Global BPO supply chain management with guidance and feedback related to system project implementation tasks.
Knowledge and best practices sharing with Gurit sites to ensure consistency.
Actively promote Gurit core model design and policies and harmonized processes.
Act as an expert for process execution and best practices
Change Management and Government
Review and assess change requests, understanding end to end supply chain risk / benefit
Consider process design options which deliver operational efficiency.
Lead system testing and validation during implementation and retrofits
Monitor process KPI
SME Leader
Lead Gurit community Supply Chain forums / education workshops to strength engagement
Escalate to Global BPO supply chain, process risk / design gaps
Foster collaboration across sites to maintain alignment with the core model
Skills & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing operations environment
- Knowledge and experience with ERP supply chain processes, knowledge of Microsoft D365 FO as a plus
- Solid understanding of Gurit core model design for function of expertise
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities in a multi-cultural environment
- A capable project leader who can influence and manage change
